Community Involvement & Charitable Giving

Charitable Giving

SCRIP-SAFE believes in giving back to our local and national communities via a variety of non-profit programs and charities. We focus on organizations in need that have touched us in some way. Through the passion and altruistic spirit of our employee team, we strive to make a difference in the lives of others, year after year.

As a caring company, we have donated thousands of dollars and have volunteered countless hours to improve the communities where we live and work. In the same spirit, during holiday seasons we chose to donate to worthy causes rather than hold elaborate gift exchanges. And throughout the year, we make donations or volunteer our time when a cause captures our attention and we can help.

Recipients of SCRIP-SAFE’s holiday charitable donations and community involvement have included:

ECOLIFE, a non-profit that installs fuel-efficient stoves in poor communities to significantly reduce smoke-related illness and burns while at the same time conserving endangered species and preserving precious natural resources.

The Fisher House Foundation, a network of comfort homes where military and veteran families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving treatment. These homes are located at major military and VA medical centers nationwide, close to the medical centers or hospitals served.

Shriners Hospitals for Children, a renowned network of 23 hospitals providing expert pediatric specialty care to children with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries and other severe medical challenges.

Feeding the Homeless Program, employee volunteers gather several times a year to prepare, assemble and distribute lunches to local homeless organizations.

Matthew 25: Ministries, an international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization helping more than 20 million people in need each year.

SCRIP-SAFE is a small company with a big heart. We foresee our long-standing commitment to philanthropic efforts continuing well into the future. In doing so, we will contribute to a variety of programs and organizations that tug at our heartstrings, have special meaning to us and perhaps need us the most.
