How It Works

There are two categories of receivers; "In-Network" and "Out-of-Network". In-Network receivers complete a  registration process and SCRIP-SAFE completes a formal background investigation. In-Network receivers are issued system access credentials and the local account administrator may add an unlimited number of users to the account.

Out-of-network receivers are designated and identified by the student through the recipient email address. Out-of-network receivers must complete a simple registration for each transcript delivered through eSCRIP-SAFE. Out-of-network receivers should consider becoming network receivers if they are receiving multiple official transcripts. There is no cost or software installation for any receiver.

A copy of the free Adobe Reader® 7.0 or higher must be installed on the desktop. The receiver has three options to retain the transcript: (1) save to the institution’s document imaging system; (2) save electronically as a PDF document; or (3) print to paper.
