Founded in 1989 by President and CEO, Joe Orndorff, SCRIP-SAFE® International, Inc. began its business by recognizing the urgent need to protect academic records from fraudulent misuse. Now the leading document security innovator, SCRIP-SAFE provides a suite of secure solutions including paper and electronic transcripts, web-based transcript ordering, custom diploma papers, secured corporate papers and desktop diploma software to over 2,200 national and international corporations, colleges and universities.

SCRIP-SAFE International takes its commitment to student privacy very seriously. We maintain strict compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), which protects students' privacy rights with regard to their educational records. For more information on FERPA, go to:

 http://www2.ed.gov/policy/gen/guid/fpco/ferpa/index.html.

Contact the Registrar’s Office at your home institution to determine their procedures for ordering and delivering a copy of your official academic transcript. If your school participates in our transcript ordering service, Transcripts on Demand, you may use that system to order a transcript online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You may access that system through a unique web link given to you through your home institution. See our Transcripts on Demand Participating School List to see a list of schools currently participating.

The total cost to order a transcript varies from school to school. Contact your home institution to determine their cost. If using Transcripts on Demand, SCRIP-SAFE will charge an online convenience fee for each unique order as well as any transcript fees that your institution charges for each transcript delivered. In addition, there may be a surcharge assessed to any expedited delivery services requested (i.e. RUSH, overnight delivery, etc.).

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) requires that a student provide consent prior to release of his or her non-public educational information such as a transcript. If you are required to submit a Consent Form, one will be generated for you within the ordering process in Transcripts on Demand. You are only required to submit a Consent Form once (for each school you request from), which will be processed and maintained by SCRIP-SAFE. You must download the form, sign and return it to SCRIP-SAFE by one of the following methods:

  • Scan and upload the document into Transcripts on Demand
  •Email to: todsupport@scrip-safe.com
  • Fax to 513/697-0012
  • Mail to: SCRIP-SAFE International
                     136 Commerce Boulevard
                      Loveland, OH 45140

PLEASE NOTE: You must submit a signed consent form using one of the methods above before your transcript request will be processed. If the form is not received within 14 days, your order will be cancelled.

The first step is to contact the Registrar’s Office at your home institution for their procedures on ordering and delivering your official academic transcript. If your institution is a sender on our electronic transcript delivery network, eSCRIP-SAFE, they will be able to deliver your transcript electronically through that service. Students do not have direct access to deliver their transcript electronically through eSCRIP-SAFE.  See our eSCRIP-SAFE Network Member Sending List for participating institutions.

Students who have requested a copy of their transcript to be delivered electronically to themselves will receive an email message from eSCRIP-SAFE Notification. Imbedded in this email message is a unique url that will take you to a registration process that needs to be completed before you are given access to your transcript from our secure server. If you have not received that email, you may want to check your junk folder to make sure that this notification was not put there by your spam filter. We also suggest that you “white list” our email domain, @escrip-safe.com, to make sure that the email notification is delivered to you successfully and does not get caught in your spam filter. PLEASE NOTE: you must open the transcript within 14 days or it will be deleted from the system, in which case you will be required to re-order the transcript.

If you used Transcripts on Demand to order your transcript, you can always log into your account and check on the status of any transcript order you have placed. If you did not use Transcripts on Demand to order your transcript, you need to contact your home institution.

Once a transcript is opened and viewed by the receiver, they have 24 hours to do something with that transcript (save it, print it, etc) before it is deleted. Out-of-network receivers must also open their transcripts within 14 days or it will be expired.

You can re-set your password on the Transcripts on Demand login page by clicking on Forgot my Password next to the login button. Also remember, your password is case sensitive so try re-entering your password with caps and/or lowercase letters.
