Transcripts on Demand™ is the name of SCRIP-SAFE's online, transcript ordering service. With this service SCRIP-SAFE® International is designated as the school’s trusted agent for collecting and managing transcript orders using the Web. The actual fulfillment (creation of the transcript) and delivery of the order are completed by the school.
Ordering transcripts through Transcripts on Demand does not determine whether a transcript is official or not official. The status of the transcript is determined by the sending school’s policies and is the same as a transcript requested via mail or in person.
Your signature is required for all transcript orders.
- Electronic Signature - If your school allows you to order transcripts through the student information system using your school issued UserID and password, this is considered an electronic signature. When connected to Transcripts on Demand™ you will not be required to complete and return a signed Consent Form.
- Written Signature - If your school directs you to the Transcripts on Demand™ Web site (Iwantmytranscript.com) you will be required to complete and sign a Consent Form the first time you use this service.
Federal legislation, referred to as The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) provides specific requirements controlling the release of academic transcripts. FERPA requires that the student personally authorizes the release of his/her transcript to a third party.
No, your son or daughter must personally authorize the release of their transcript by written or electronic signature. While some colleges and universities may allow the release of student academic records under specified circumstances such as parental proof of student dependency, this is not typical and this ordering system does not accommodate such practice. Parents attempting to request their children's transcripts should contact the institution's Registrar's Office.
You will be notified if a signed Consent Form is required. Signed Consent Forms must be received within fourteen (14) days of your order. Until the Consent Form is received you will receive an email message every day for 14 days reminding you to submit the form. After 14 days, your order will be cancelled and a refund will be issued. The transcript service fee for each request will not be refunded.
Log into the ordering system and select the “Consent Form” tab in the upper right of the page. If the consent form has not been received and approved, you will have the opportunity to obtain another form.
Transcripts on Demand supports the uploading of up to five PDF documents. If your school allows this option, you will be enabled to upload PDF documents while you are placing your transcript order. If the school does not permit the uploading of documents through Transcripts on Demand, you should refer to your school’s website or contact the Registrar’s Office for more information.
If you have a hold on your student account you should take the appropriate steps to remove the hold prior to ordering your transcript. The first step is to contact the school’s office that has placed the hold on your record. Most schools will not release your transcript if a hold is recorded.
You will be required to make payment at the time of order with either a MasterCard, Visa , Discover or American Express debit or credit card . For security purposes, please enter the exact billing address (where your bank sends your credit card statements) and the credit card security code.
Yes. Transcripts on Demand™ is PCI/DSS compliant and utilizes the most current security techniques to keep your personal information and identity secure.
This is contingent upon the receipt of your Consent Form. Once we receive your signed Consent Form, your order will be forwarded electronically to the sending institution as quickly as possible and usually within one to two hours of receipt. Turnaround times are slower in times of high volume such as the beginning and ending of a term. Updates on the status of your order are emailed to you.
You may check on the status of your transcript order by returning to the sign-on process you used to access Transcripts on Demand™ (either your school’s secure access through the school’s student information system or directly to iwantmytranscript.com).
This is contingent on how fast your school processes your order. If your school supports electronic transcript delivery, your transcript will be delivered immediately upon processing your request. Selecting the appropriate school and address from the electronic network address book or, for addresses not in the electronic address book, providing the email address of your recipient will enable electronic delivery for those schools that use these electronic delivery options. Actual delivery time for transcripts sent by U. S. first class mail or express mail service is at the discretion of the carrier.
Your transcript is sent as a secure PDF document through the eSCRIP-SAFE® Global Electronic Transcript Delivery Network. If the school enters your email address, you will be notified when: (1) we send your transcript, and (2) when your recipient receives and views your transcript.
If your transcript was delivered electronically and you received notification of receipt, contact the receiver. If your transcript was mailed by U.S. first class mail, please ensure sufficient time for delivery. If your transcript was mailed using an express mail service, check the tracking number of the express service. If your transcript needs to be re-ordered, you will need to submit a new transcript order with payment.
Yes. In addition to the transcript fee charged by the school, there is a service fee per request. This fee may vary based on the service option chosen by the school. An order may include multiple requests.
The Transcripts on Demand™ service utilizes email to provide you with important messages related to your transcript order. To ensure that you receive these messages please add TranscriptsOnDemand@escrip-safe.com to the safe list or white list in your email application. Text messaging is also available.
If the transcript has not been processed by your school you should contact the registrar’s office directly and be prepared to give them the specifics of your order as shown on your receipt.
There are sometimes differences in the manner a particular Web browser works with a specific Web application. Transcripts on Demand™ is designed to work with all commercial internet browsers. It is recommended that you use the current release of your browser.
